Have you ever heard of the “Holy Mountain of Bavaria”?
It’s located near Munich and is really popular among people from Munich. With an old monastery located on top it has been a destination for pilgrims since 1128. Not only can you visit the beautiful church, but you can also relax at the monastery’s beergarden and restaurant. Their brewery exists since 1455! The hike up is about 2 hours of relaxed walking.

Cost: FREE
Meeting point: Hauptbahnhof (in front of DB Information center in the middle of the main hall)

Make sure that you wear sturdy shoes (Hiking boots recommended!) and
don’t forget to validate your LMU Card as this is our ticket of transportation!
Every student is responsible for their own valid MVV ticket!!
